Your membership in Applause underwrites funding for all performing and visual arts productions. This includes all art shows, band performances, Drama, One Act, Musical, Patriot Singers, Show Choir Masters, Show Choir Showcase, Arts Alive!, Talent Show, Reveillon and Fusion; which are all significant ventures that showcase our students.
In addition to production support for the 2019-2020 year, your contribution to Applause membership helped provide:
- Purchased all new band uniforms - 35 in total (first new ones in decades)
- Provided a new French Horn
- Expanded our musical library for both band festival music and choir music
- Funded the One-Act state competition trip for our students
- Purchased LED Modules and Erector hardware for Truss sets for Show Choir sets, also usable in other productions
- Assisted in funding the transformation of the Visual and Performing Arts hallways with colorful graphics designed by one of our own Art faculty
- Built new cabinets to prominently feature student 3-dimensional art creations
- Purchase materials and supplies for Art Classrooms including a glass kiln and pottery wheel
- Purchase Band instruments, music, and additional technical training for brass and percussion
- Provide professional development opportunities for Visual Arts teachers
- MAIS clinic travel
- Music, licenses, clinics, training, and travel for all of our performing arts
- State Competition fees for One Act
- Support of Show Choir Masters event and Fine Art events such as Earthwinds Coffeehouse, Sidewalk Art Competition, Fall & Spring dramas, competitions & concerts for all of our performing arts.
